Here I experimented with line art, colours and shading layers. I managed to do both the cat and the baker. the reason I created a montage of different colour schemes, is so I can compare between which one would fit well in the animation. As well as using layers in Photoshop to try different shadings using warm and cool colours.

In both of these images, the cool and warm shading layer are both on, so there is a contrast of each other, which make some of the options interesting. I used complimentary colours for shading each of the cats colour, still keeping harmony in mind. If it isn't noticeable, there is different line art colour on each of the design, this keeps them separated and stands out from the background, I took this idea from an animation.

Overall it was a fun process, and I'm happy with the lineart, just not 100% sure on the colouring, they still have to suit each other.
