17/05/19 - Friday | Background and colour

My storyboard didn't help me a lot, since it was quite rushed in certain bits such as here. At this point I had to wing it and draft the background. I added a colour layer for the dessert cart. Everything seems dull or simple except the red velvet cake at the top that has a lot of cream (cat's favourite) compared to the other desserts.

This part I struggled, I'm not very good at perspective and have to later fix this background. The perspective is all wonky because of the cart so I will have to zoom in a bit later. On the other hand, I coloured the background in and added more to the line art of the desserts, keeps them a lot more interesting than before.
